SKETCH CLASSES
Sketch comedy is a terrific way to explore your creativity and make new friends. It is a safe and fun activity to step out of your comfort zone or come out from under your shell in a supportive environment. We offer a comprehensive course structure focusing on a variety of fundamentals and skills that is great for any experience level.
Join us for this 6 week introduction course where we’ll be exploring different sketch formats, styles, and techniques. This class provides an oppotunity to enhance your comedic writing skills and put together a portfolio of different kinds of sketches.

Now that we know the formats we will hone in on the two that you feel are your strongest and then pass them off to a partner for collaboration. Each student will write and collaborate on two sketches. Harboring comedic partnership while focusing in on their creative strengths.

The whole frijole! Write, cast, direct, rehearse, and produce your own sketch comedy show. Now that you know all the working parts the only thing left to do is put it all together. Go from absolutely nothing to a full production in a few weeks. Work with a mix of the sketch formats you’ve learned and some collaborative and solo work. 30-45 minute final show.
